Vanlı Kara Haydar soruşturmasında 1,5 milyar TL daha ele geçirildi
Prosecutors running the Kara Haydar investigation, a case originating in Van, have seized another enormous pile of cash, this time in Antalya. The probe is led by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and centres on Mehmet Fatih Tançalan. A search of a business premises in Antalya turned up 1,541,395,000 Turkish lira in cash. That find comes on top of foreign currency recovered earlier from two cars in Istanbul. Once the amounts are converted, the total seized across the operation now reaches about 2,475,000,000 TL. Money linked to the case has now surfaced in multiple provinces, far from where the investigation started. Authorities have not explained what role the cash is suspected of playing in the alleged scheme. The rising totals suggest investigators are still working through the financial side of the network.
