Much of Turkey will see partly cloudy and clear conditions, according to the Meteorology General Directorate's latest assessment. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the Eastern Mediterranean, Southeast Anatolia and the areas around southern Kayseri, Niğde, Malatya and Elazığ. The bulletin is framed as a province-by-province warning about rainfall and fog density. Haze and fog, locally dense, are expected in morning and nighttime hours across Marmara, Northern and Inner Aegean, and Western Black Sea. Air temperatures are not expected to move much, with no significant change in the forecast. Drivers in fog-affected regions face the familiar problem of poor visibility at dawn and after dark.
