Dog fouling has become a persistent problem at one of Wexford town's most popular parks, according to people who use it regularly. Locals describe the amount of uncollected mess as a huge issue, one that has spoiled visits to a green space meant for families and walkers. The complaints centre on paths and grass areas where children play, which turns the problem from a nuisance into a health concern. Bins and signage already exist in the park, so much of the frustration lands on owners who ignore them. Regular users want more enforcement, since warnings alone have not changed behaviour. The issue is now being raised with the local council, which holds responsibility for maintenance and bylaws in the park.
