The public transport and petroleum administration in Kassala locality announced a new gasoline price of 9,615 pounds per liter, up from 9,078 pounds. It said the new price takes effect from the date of the decision. Abdel Majid Abdel Hamid denied talk of an agreement with Saudi Aramco to import fuel, saying it is incorrect. He also said that a gallon is calculated on the basis of 4.546 liters.
