Ankara will mark the 103rd anniversary of its designation as the capital with celebrations tomorrow. As part of the events, a number of streets in the city will be closed to traffic from the morning hours. The closures are tied directly to the anniversary commemorations. They will affect movement along the routes being used for the ceremonies. Drivers with journeys through the affected parts of the city should factor in the restrictions when planning their route. The announcement came a day in advance, giving commuters a short window to adjust their plans.
