An open night at a Cork school gave incoming students a first look at the place they may soon call their own. Photographs taken during the evening capture the school at its best, with classrooms and displays laid out for visitors. Current students did much of the hosting, and they impressed the prospective scholars who came through the doors. Tours like this give families a chance to ask questions face to face instead of relying on websites and brochures. For many parents, the night is also a first chance to meet teachers and see how they engage with pupils. Open evenings have long been a fixture of the school calendar across Cork. Enrolment figures or event dates were not included in the report. Even so, the pictures point to a school keen to put its daily life on display for the next intake.
