Pyramid scheme arrests: China says cases handled in accordance with law
China says it handles cases involving illegal or criminal activity by foreign nationals on its soil in accordance with the law. Foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun gave that answer on Friday (Sept 4) to a question from Singapore broadcaster CNA. The question concerned 52 Singaporeans arrested in Guangxi for alleged involvement in a pyramid scheme, along with a request for details such as when the investigations began.
