The race to form the next government in São Tomé and Príncipe remains competitive. The President of the Republic held hearings on Tuesday with parties represented in the National Assembly. The MLSTP won the legislative elections with a relative majority. The party told the head of state that it possesses the necessary political conditions to lead the government.
