Thundery showers with gusty winds over 3 regions in Singapore amid worsened haze

Residents in Singapore could get a brief reprieve from the haze amid heavy rains in Singapore on Thursday (Oct 15) morning.In a heavy rain warning issued at 7.32am, the Meteorological Service Singapore said moderate to heavy thundery showers with gusty winds are expected over the southern, eastern and western areas of Singapore between 7.50am and 8.50am.Meanwhile, national water agency, PUB, has issued a risk of flash flood for the following places:Lorong Gambir (till 8.48am)Service road off Upper Paya Lebar Road (till 8.51am)Air quality in the city state entered the "very unhealthy' range at 9pm on Wednesday (Oct 14), with the 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) reaching 203 in western Singapore.
