AfDB‑backed $60 million e‑waste programme launches in nine African nations

A $60 million (Sh7.79 billion) Global Electronics Management programme, funded by the GEF and led by AfDB, UNIDO, UNDP and UNEP, will start in nine African countries to boost e‑waste recycling and create jobs.
