The Galician town of Sanxenxo cooked what organizers billed as the largest Spanish omelette in the world and handed out 10,000 portions to the public. The giant tortilla took 17,000 eggs, 1,700 kilos of potatoes, 300 kilos of onions, 300 liters of oil and 30 kilos of salt. Crowds lined up as the massive dish was cooked and served on the spot.
