The fifth edition of the folklore gathering 'When Bread Had a Soul' near Petrich brought together hundreds of guardians of the Bulgarian spirit. The culmination of the festival was a presentation of an authentic wedding custom from the Rhodope Mountains. A painted bride - a 'gelina' from the village of Ribnovo - enchanted the event.
