Hungary's new head coach has named his first competitive squad, and there are fresh faces in it. He picked his group for the upcoming European Championship qualifier. Three uncapped players received his vote of confidence and a chance to state their case in training. The list also includes a goalkeeper who currently leads the goalkeeper rankings in Spain's top division. That call-up rewards an exceptional stretch of shot-stopping played out far from home. Young players promoted this way rarely get much grace once qualifiers begin. All eyes will now be on the new bench to see how the mix holds up.
