Željko Komšić has accused the SDP of bowing before the SDA because the party is fighting for survival. In a live interview with our outlet, he hinted that SDA leaders may be holding compromising papers on their coalition partner and keeping them in drawers for the right moment. He said the Democratic Front's result in the recent elections showed the party has a base the bigger blocs cannot ignore. Coalition options came up during the talk, and he gave no clear commitment either way. He was blunt about who, in his reading, actually controls nearly every political process in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since the DF failed to secure a mandate in the Parliamentary Assembly, he described the channels the party will use instead to stay active. He framed the coming period as one of opposition to the same forces his group has always opposed. Neither the SDP nor the SDA has responded to the claims publicly.
