The whole PSOE candidate list for Congress in Palencia has resigned. The move came after Ferraz, the socialist party's headquarters in Madrid, changed who led the ticket. Álvaro Bilbao, the original number one on the list, was replaced by Mariluz Martínez Seijo. The four candidates who had initially been chosen voiced their protest at the imposed substitution.
