Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković has met with Borjana Krišto to discuss relations between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The two talked about strengthening the countries' ties in the period after the general elections. They also addressed the formation of governing institutions at all levels in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Plenković called the election of Darijana Filipović a step toward more harmonious relations among the peoples of the country. Croatia follows political events in its neighbor closely because of the shared history and the status of Croats as one of three constituent peoples. Krišto, a leading Bosnian Croat politician, has long been a central partner for Zagreb in these contacts. The meeting comes as Bosnia's institutions take shape following the vote.
