The Escondida copper mine saw a decline in production during the third quarter. It produced 252,600 tons of copper. This figure is a 19% decrease compared to the second quarter of the current year. Production also dropped 23% compared to the same period in 2025. Despite the fall, annual goals remain unchanged.
