Winter energy uncertainty is fueling a political spat in the Republika Srpska. Milorad Dodik announced strict measures to get the entity through the cold season. He pledged to visit personally all 407,000 households and to establish on the spot which energy sources people rely on for heating. Pandurević answered sharply with a single word, "Bando!", an insult close in meaning to a gangster. The exchange has turned the question of winter supplies into open political conflict. Ordinary households, meanwhile, still do not know what their heating season will look like.
