The process of building a cable car to connect the Maula Kaalika temple in Gandakot with Devghat in Chitwan district has moved forward. IME Group aims to complete the project within two years. The route would link Maula Kaalika Temple in Gandakot Municipality Ward 1 with the Devghat area of Bharatpur Metropolitan City Ward 1. The company said the project is now undergoing an environmental impact assessment. Chairman Chandra Dhakal said work on the undertaking is advancing. The plan would give pilgrims and other visitors a direct transport link between the temple and the Devghat hub. That environmental review forms the next major stage before the proposed construction schedule.
