inDrive rides can now be booked through 2GIS while users are planning a route in Kazakhstan. The integration covers 19 cities, giving passengers another way to arrange a taxi inside a mapping and navigation service they already use. 2GIS said more than ten million users in Kazakhstan can access the inDrive option during trip planning. The feature lets a rider request a ride directly from the 2GIS interface without first moving to a separate booking service. Company representatives presented the rollout as an expansion of inDrive’s availability through a popular local platform. For users, the taxi request can now be made during the same route-planning process used to find their destination.
