Belize is preparing to welcome a new international air connection from Europe after Discover Airlines announced seasonal service between Frankfurt, Germany, and Belize City. The route is scheduled to start on December 16, 2027. The Belize Tourism Board announced the plan on Tuesday and presented it as part of a push to expand the country's international reach. A direct seasonal link could make travel to Belize easier for visitors based in Germany. The announcement did not give the flight frequency or aircraft details, and it left the length of the seasonal schedule unclear. No seat capacity was disclosed. If demand is strong, the route could bring more German and wider European visitors to Belize.
