Qatar’s Transport and Labour Minister Nidal Al-Kattani received the Turkish ambassador to discuss a wider bilateral relationship. The meeting focused particularly on transport cooperation between the two countries. Rail connectivity was another subject addressed by the minister and the ambassador. They also discussed vocational training and ways of expanding cooperation in that field. The report of the meeting did not announce a specific rail agreement, funding package or timetable for joint programs. The talks nevertheless placed transport links and workforce development on the agenda of Qatar’s engagement with Türkiye.
