The Russian Ministry of Labour reminded fathers what paperwork is needed when claiming leave to care for a child. The main document must be obtained from the mother's place of work. It should confirm that the mother is not on childcare leave for the child before reaching the age of three. The certificate must also show that she has returned to work. Her employer must state that the corresponding childcare allowance has stopped being paid. The father can use that confirmation when applying for the leave through his own workplace.
