Gamuda Bhd announced an agreement to implement the North Perak Water Supply Scheme in the northern state. The pact was signed by the Perak state government. Khazanah Air Perak Sdn Bhd and Prasarana Air dan Irigasi Perak Sdn Bhd were also parties. Under the arrangement, Gamuda will carry out the scheme. The company did not disclose the contract value or construction schedule. Its statement also gave no breakdown of how the parties will finance the work. The agreement gives the northern water project a formal framework for implementation.
