Prophet Odumeje says he neither collects tithes nor preaches about them in his church. He made the statement while describing what he says his ministry is about. According to him, the focus is on demonstrating spiritual power rather than raising money from worshippers. The report centers on his denial and his explanation of the ministry's priorities. It does not provide figures for church income or detail whether other kinds of offerings are accepted. No further explanation was given about how the policy is applied or whether it covers every branch of the ministry.
