Aston Villa defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is set to miss several weeks because of an injury. The club has not yet published a full diagnosis or a firm date for his return. His absence will remove a regular first-team option from Villa’s defensive lineup. The squad has also been hit by a minor knock to Manzambi. The report treats Manzambi’s problem as less serious and indicates he is not expected to be out for as long as Wan-Bissaka. Villa’s medical staff will continue to assess both players before the next fixtures. Wan-Bissaka’s spell out is the bigger concern because it could affect selection across the back line for several games.
