Former Croatia striker and coach Slaven Bilić has commented on the long-running approach used by Zlatko Dalić with the national team. His remarks focus on a practice Dalić has maintained over many years, rather than on a single match. The standings quoted in the report have Spain first with 12 points and England second on nine. Croatia have three points in that snapshot, with the Czech Republic also listed in the group. The competitive picture behind Bilić's comments is therefore uneven, with Croatia trailing the two leading sides. As a former international, he is speaking from experience within the same team culture Dalić has shaped. His intervention raises the question of whether continuity in Dalić's methods still fits the results Croatia are producing.
