A fuel tanker blew up on the Hamedan-Sanandaj highway in western Iran, leaving at least 10 people dead. Officials said six others were injured in the blast. The route runs between Hamedan and Sanandaj, two capitals in the country's west, and carries steady traffic. There has been no word yet on what set the tanker off.
