A Surinamese ministry will be able to produce its own public-information videos again after a 16-year gap. The return was made possible thanks to Hakrinbank, according to the report from Nieuws uit Suriname. The ministry wants to use explanatory material on television and social media to reach the public with government information. Its own production capability had been unavailable for more than a decade and a half. The announcement did not state the value or duration of the bank's arrangement, nor did it identify the first videos planned for production. It also gave no timetable for launching the new communications program.
