During a business forum in Angola, Namibia presented the case of an entrepreneur who chose the country to build a business 17 years ago. Officials used the story as evidence of what long-term foreign investment can achieve in Angola. The entrepreneur’s name and the precise nature of the venture were not included in the published excerpt. The event formed part of President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah’s visit, aimed at strengthening economic ties between the two southern African countries. Delegations discussed strategic investment in agriculture and the processing industry. They also addressed cooperation in oil and gas. The forum was organized as an initiative of Angola’s Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency, with the goal of drawing more investment and export activity.
