Cuba is incorporating 44 electric cargo vehicles to strengthen the transport of medical supplies. The units are intended to expand electric freight capacity for health-care deliveries. Havana will receive 20 of the vehicles, which TRANSMED will operate. The remaining 24 will be managed by provincial transport companies. For medical logistics, that means one operator will manage the capital's fleet while provincial companies handle the vehicles assigned elsewhere. The announcement does not say when deliveries will begin or explain where the vehicles will charge.
