Lisbon's stock exchange closed lower, following weakness across major European markets. Of the 16 shares in the PSI, 11 finished down and five finished up. Declining issues thus formed a clear majority of the session. Lisbon's move was placed in line with the main European stock markets, which also ended on a negative note.
