LeBron James is scheduled to begin his 24th NBA season on Tuesday night. A headline calls him the NBA's "chosen one" and says he is breaking records, though it names no specific milestone. The 41-year-old star enters the campaign seeking a fifth championship. He hopes that title will end his club's championship drought. His age has become central to the debate about how much he can contribute this season. Not everyone believes he can reach the goal. The report did not cite a particular injury or roster change that might hold him back.
