Enga Police Chief refuses to mediate criminal cases
The acting provincial police commander for Enga has refused to mediate criminal cases. His position is that officers should stick to investigating and enforcing the law, not brokering settlements between disputing parties. People with grievances are being pointed toward the courts instead of expecting an informal fix from police.
