Nigeria's Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress says it expects to win the 2027 elections. The party attributed its confidence to reconciliation efforts that included engagement with Teslim Folarin. Officials described the reconciliation process as successful and said it improved unity around the party's electoral bid. The statement presents Folarin's involvement as evidence that differences within Oyo's political circles have been narrowed. It did not publish polling figures or seat projections. Nor did it explain the specific terms of the reconciliation. The announcement forms part of the APC's early pitch to voters ahead of the 2027 contest.
