Steve Nash has expressed strong confidence in the Toronto Raptors as they head into this season. The Hall of Fame former player is one of the most recognizable figures in Canadian basketball. He said the Raptors could be dangerous, a description that presents them as a serious challenge to other teams. That language goes beyond a routine vote of encouragement and frames Toronto as a potential contender. No individual player or tactical change was singled out in his comments. The forecast does not specify a win total or playoff target. His backing gives the team a prominent supporter, although it offers no measurable basis for judging whether the prediction will come true.
