Civil Defense teams in Makkah responded on Tuesday after reports that three children had been swept away by a flash flood. Teams rescued one child and found another dead, the agency said. Search teams continued looking for the third child, who remained missing. The incident was reported through the Civil Defense's X account. Authorities urged residents and visitors to stay away from valleys and low-lying areas where water collects during rainfall. No further information was released about the children or the circumstances that carried them into the floodwater.
