Slovak lawyer Peter Kubina has sued Boris Kollár for substantial damages over comments about a so-called Čurill mafia. The case arose after Kollár used the phrase in reference to figures associated with the Čurill name. The dispute has now produced an ironic twist, with Kubina defending his own reputation in similarly charged language. In discussing the transfer of judge Hajduk, the lawyer described the action as the work of a mafia. M. Kosová said Kubina's comments had crossed a line. Her criticism suggests that Kubina may be applying a different standard to Kollár's remarks than to his own.
