Keiko Fujimori y Daniel Noboa instalan Gabinete Binacional: "Marcará el inicio de una nueva y prometedora etapa"
Peruvian President Keiko Fujimori and Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa formally installed the 17th Binational Cabinet at the Government Palace. The joint meeting is intended to coordinate strategic action between the two countries, including protection of their shared borders. Fujimori said the inauguration marked the beginning of a new and promising stage in bilateral relations. She also referred to the historic signing of the Peace Agreements of 1998 as a foundation for the countries' cooperation. The cabinet brings government officials together to address security and other issues that require a coordinated response. Its next test will be whether the new joint structure produces decisions that both administrations can carry out.
