Tunisia's Ministry of Transport plans to introduce a mobile application that will show public transport schedules in real time. The app is intended to help passengers check when buses or other services are due. The ministry is developing the project with the Ministry of Communication Technologies. Together, they plan an integrated system supporting transport operations and passenger information. National and regional transport companies would be brought into the system. Funding for the project will come from the Communications and Information Technology Development Fund, with no launch date announced in the report.
