Departamentos amoblados: en qué barrios se alquilan y en cuáles se venden
Furnished apartments make up a much larger share of rental listings than sale listings across comparable parts of Buenos Aires. In Puerto Madero, four out of every 10 units offered to tenants come with furniture, the highest proportion in the city. The neighborhood also leads among buyers, with one in seven properties advertised as furnished. Furnishing is more common for renters than for purchasers in 41 of the 42 neighborhoods included in the comparison. The pattern suggests that landlords have more reason to bundle furniture with a rental than sellers have with a property for sale. Puerto Madero’s strong figures make it the clearest concentration of furnished housing in the city. Buyers seeking furnished homes therefore have fewer choices than tenants, while most districts offer only a small selection of such properties.
