Two men have been arrested in Britain on suspicion of assisting Iranian intelligence. The case centers on an alleged plan to prepare an attack on a Royal Air Force base. American military personnel are stationed at the facility identified in the report. Both men were detained while investigators examine what support they allegedly provided and what role they played in the preparations. Neither the suspects nor the base was named in the report, and the authorities gave no account of the evidence. The arrests do not establish guilt, and the men remain suspects at this stage. Any prosecution would have to be brought through the British courts.
