The Polisario Front has threatened to withdraw from the UN-sponsored peace process over Western Sahara. It warned that it would do so if the Security Council adopts a US draft on the future of the MINURSO mission without fundamental changes. The front said the draft’s contents set the framework and results of negotiations in advance. It also said the draft does not guarantee the right to self-determination that it demands.
