Defying the odds: 15-year-old Ford Hartze leaves behind a lifesaving legacy of hope

Ford Hartze, a 15-year-old from Wentworth who lived with Eisenmenger syndrome, died on October 15, 2026. His final wish was honoured when his corneas were donated to two recipients in Cape Town.
