The telecommunications regulator denied a transfer request that would have let Starlink operate in Portugal for three years. This decision was based on the fact that the licenses in question expire in 2027. Officials did not rule out the possibility of the company entering the market in the future.
O regulador das telecomunicações negou o pedido de transferência que permitiria a operação do Starlink no espaço português por três anos. O facto de as licenças terminarem em 2027 motivou o chumbo, ainda que não seja afastada uma possibilidade de entrada futura.
