SIPA u Livnu uhapsila navijača Hajduka: Sumnjiči se za antisemitsko skandiranje uoči utakmice s Ajaksom
SIPA agents have arrested a Hajduk Split fan in the Bosnian town of Livno on suspicion of antisemitic chanting. The chants allegedly rang out before a match against Ajax, an Amsterdam club long linked with the city's Jewish community. Investigators collected material around the case and processed the suspect through standard criminal procedures. Once that work is complete, he must be handed over within the legal deadline to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Antisemitic and fascist chants at stadiums have drawn fines, match suspensions and formal complaints across the region in recent seasons. Clubs publicly condemn such behaviour, yet the slogans keep returning to the terraces. The Livno arrest will now test whether prosecutors can convert recorded chanting into a criminal conviction.
