Betohen 515 rekrutë të rinj të FSK-së, Kurti paralajmëron mbi 1 miliard euro investime në ushtri
Kosovo's Security Force has welcomed its largest generation of recruits so far, with 515 soldiers of the 02/2026 intake swearing a solemn oath at the Adem Jashari barracks in Prishtina. The size of the intake points to how quickly the force has expanded in recent years. Prime Minister Albin Kurti used the occasion to announce that more than one billion euros will be invested in the military. He also said ammunition production at the factory in Gjakova will start by the end of the year. Kosovo has been building out its defence posture steadily, a process watched closely in neighboring countries. For the new recruits, the oath is the formal start of service in a force whose budget and equipment have both been on an upward path. Officials in Prishtina frame the buildup as a question of self-reliance and readiness.
