Over 5 000 teachers celebrate at Mavuso
More than 5,000 teachers gathered at the Mavuso Sports Centre in Manzini to mark national Teachers' Day. The crowd brought educators in from schools across Eswatini for a program built on music and dancing. Education and Training Minister Owen Nxumalo addressed the gathering and renewed his pledge to keep supporting teachers. The day gave instructors from different regions a chance to meet colleagues under one roof. Organizers set the event up as a national show of appreciation for classroom work around the country. The turnout filled one of Manzini's biggest indoor venues and gave the occasion a festival air.
