County Kildare took home 12 gold medals in the 2026 SuperValu TidyTowns competition. Kill finished as the highest performing area in the county. TidyTowns is a long-running Irish contest that grades communities on cleanliness and the upkeep of public spaces. Gold medals go only to towns that post top scores across the judging categories. Behind each medal stands months of quiet volunteer work on litter and planting. Kill's result hands the town local bragging rights until next year's judging begins.
