The Nasarawa State Police Command has taken three suspects into custody over an alleged marijuana operation in Keana Local Government Area. Officers raided a hideout in the area where the trio was believed to be growing the drug. The command says the suspects were also involved in selling what they cultivated. Investigators are still working to establish the full scale of the farm and the network behind it. No names or ages of those arrested have been released to the public. The raid forms part of a wider campaign by police against illegal drug production in the state. Anyone found culpable will face prosecution once inquiries wrap up, according to the command. Further details will emerge as investigators complete their work.
